Traditional Shrimp Diablo

Shrimp with a bang! A spicy dish with shrimp doused in bold flavors of garlic, olive oil, and rustic vodka sauce. This dish is versatile and can be made with the seafood of your choice. Perfect on a summer day with a chilled glass of white or a cozy winter night.


Cook/prep time: 25 mins | Serves 3-4


  • 1 lb. fresh shrimp         
  • Salt
  • Olive oil                      
  • Fresh garlic
  • Red pepper flakes     
  • 1 jar of Pirro's Rustic Vodka Sauce
  • Black pepper             
  • 1 bag of spinach (washed)
  • Cooked penne or pasta of choice
  • Optional: Parmesan cheese for topping


Clean the shrimp, remove the tails, and dry them. In a medium bowl,  mix the shrimp, olive oil, red pepper flakes, black pepper, salt, and fresh garlic. In a medium-size saucepan, turn to medium heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil. Add shrimp to pan, spreading it out evenly. Cook for about 2 minutes on each side or until golden in color.

Add one jar of Pirro’s Rustic Vodka Sauce. Fold in spinach. Turn heat up to high and mix ingredients. Cook until spinach is wilted and thoroughly cooked.

Put the Shrimp Diablo mix over the cooked pasta. Add shredded Parmesan cheese if preferred. Serve immediately and enjoy!
