Pesto Pomodoro Pizza

This recipe is so fun, simple and quick! It's great for parties, meal prep or just a quick weeknight dinner! Now seems like the perfect time to share with the warm Summer months coming up.


  • 1 jar of Pirro's Pesto Pomodoro Sauce
  • 1 pizza crust or 4 mini naan flatbreads
  • 4 oz fresh mozzarella
  • 5 large fresh basil leaves
  • 1/8 cup sliced red onion



    Preheat oven 450˚ F.

    Place pizza crust or flatbreads on prepared pan. Take one jar of Pirro's Pesto Pomodoro Sauce and evenly spread over crut surface at desired thickness.

    Place red onion slices over pizza.

    Slice fresh mozzarella and place on pizza leaving space between each slice.

    Once the oven is heated place pizza for 12-18 minutes, checking frequently.

    Once crust edges have browned and cheese is slightly melted, remove from oven and let cool.

    Slice basil leaves and evenly garnish the top of the pizza.

    Serve and enjoy!
